Good News For all the Nokia Lovers in India


HMD Global based in Espoo, Finland which officially markets as well as manufactures Nokia handsets has recently unveiled the 3 new exciting Nokia smartphones in the Indian market at a price-range of Rs14,999, Rs 12,899 and Rs 9,499. The company has tagged Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 as ‘offline exclusive’ and consumers can soon buy them from general offline outlets for electronics from 16th June onwards, meanwhile, the Nokia 6 handset will be available exclusively on Amazon starting July 14.

The Nokia 6 come with a full-HD screen of 5.5-inch and is the body is made of a single block of 6,000 series aluminium. The smartphone will be available in four colour variants; tempered blue, matte black, copper and silver.  The device will basically use Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor that will be supported by Adreno 505 graphics processor. The device offers upto 32 GB of internal storage space, which is expandable upto 128 GB along with 3GB of RAM. The device come with an 8MP front camera and 16MP rear camera with features such as auto-focus (PDAF) and face detection along with as LED flash. Further, the device sports a near field communication (NFC), 3,000 mAh battery support, fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, and 4G LTE capabilities.

The company has also placed Nokia 5 in the mid-range price segment that will come with HD 5.2-inch IPS LCD display of 720p. Nokia 5 is supported with the processor octa-core Snapdragon 430 and comes with internal storage of 16GB, which can be also expanded up to 128 GB and a 2 GB RAM. The phones has an 8 MP front and a 13MP rear camera. Other configuration include USB OTG, NFC support, and battery of 3,000 mAh.

Nokia 3, which will come at Rs 9,499 falls in the low-end segment. The smartphone comes with a 5-inch screen with HD 720p layered with Gorilla Glass protection. In terms of processor, it has sport as quad-core processor called MediaTek MT6737 that is supported by a graphic processor called Mali-T720MP2. Similar to Nokia 5, Nokia 3 also come with an internal storage of 16GB that can be expanded up to 128 GB and 2 GB RAM. However, both rear and font camera in Nokia 3 are of 8MP with battery of 650 mAh and USB OTG. The company has also recently unveiled the symbolic Nokia 3310 in the India market at INR 3,310. This handset received a lot of attention from loyal Nokia fans in the country.
